Kathy Cooper, Potluck, Gita Study
Hello Near East Yoga,
May has officially become Kathy Cooper time in Portland, Oregon, hence her 1st visit with us last summer. Many of us were introduced to then and a few will be meeting her for the first second or third times.
Now we have an entire month to spend time getting to know one another and possibly deepen our practice. She and I have talked a great deal about my vision regarding her stay in Portland and appears to love this place as much as anyone.
That’s the spirit! Portland is such a gem of a place as are the people who live here. She really gets that about Portland. I am honored both by her and you-all that she can have this time with us.
Please make use of it any way you can. Thanks Kathy for dropping by Portland for a while.
Here are few notes regarding the workshop(ws).
1. All the classes posted in the normal schedule on the website are being supported. Normal times, all Classes.
2. Any class you normally come to is open to you for practice. Including Kathy’s.
3. Even if you did not sign up- thats ok. Do the yoga when you normally practice.
4. RSVP with me in advance if you can. Kathy’s classes are right now attended at, light, medium to nearly full.
The Sunday Potluck is on. I will attempt to make chai-guru style or the way Charisse showed me- in the studio. Bring a small veg-dish that a few can share.
The Gita Study has bi-moonday meeting Sunday night, May 2nd at 6PM.
We will be exploring themes from Chapters 1-4. Have one in mind? Love to hear it.
See you all then and soon, Casey
